Portfolio Guidelines

You know the end of any semester is near when the prof starts talking about portfiolio guidelines. Feel free to use the guidelines contained in the syllabus as additions to these main guidelines:

Portfiolios should contain:

Reflective Statement*
All Graded Materials (Handouts, Response Journals, In-class Assignments)
Blog Comments
Learning Logs

*Your Reflective Statement should answer the following questions in about 2 pages:

How have you grown as a reader, writer, and thinker during this semester? What have you learned this semester that will be of use and value to you in your studies? What do you plan to do differently in your future academic pursuits as a result of this class, and why?

The due date for all portfolios is no later than Monday, December 18th. These are to be submitted to Kathy, the Literacy Education Department's secretary in P-345.

Prof. Ferrante

A brief note: I do not accept late work--if you do not have graded material, please do not include it in your portfolio as it will be discounted altogether.
